Attempt by actual zombies to protest against "zombie march" backfires.

An attempt by a group of actual zombies to protest against a zombie walk in Seattle completely backfired, as the zombies where viewed as participating in the march, rather than protesting against it. Local media outlets simply reported that the march had an especially large turnout; none of the had the intelligence, or, perhaps, the courage, to delve any deeper into the story. None except Sigilmedia news, who interviewed the organizer of the failed counter-protest. Malcolm Fulweather, who is not himself a zombie, formed an organization to protect the rights of zombies when his wife succumbed to the condition 11 years ago. "Zombieism is a terrible condition to suffer from." He told me. "The person loses nearly all independent volition, all will and feeling, being capable of doing little more than shamble about mindlessly. Zombies have been misunderstood and exploited for centuries, being used as slaves by evil sorcerers, who found a way of inducing the condition artificially by using a combination of drugs. Events like this promote the idea that zombies are undead brain eating monsters, when in fact they are merely normal people who have become the victims of a terrible illness."
