She kept on sailing, saying to herself, "There must be a giant snake or something holding things in place, otherwise all the water would drain out of the ocean. And she sailed on, and when she had sailed for as many days as it took her to reach the place where the sun changes it's direction, she came in sight of land. There was a large forest lining the grove, which she chose to explore first. Night fell as she was walking, so she decided to sleep there. But she was soon awoken by the sound of banging and crashing, and when she looked up, there was a boy her own age hanging from the tree she was sleeping under.
"Stop thrashing about!" She said, and proceded to cut through the rope he was dangling from with a sharp rock. And they carefully walked through the forest until they reached the shore again, and slep tin the beach together.
"What were you doing wandering through the forest?" Asked the boy, when they woke up."
"Looking for a husband." She said. "Because I don't want to marry my brother."
"I'm supposed to marry one of my sisters." Said the boy. "Once I'm done exploring, anyways."
"You shouldn't!" Said the girl.
"But if I don't marry my sister, then who can I marry?"
"You should marry me."
"That's a good idea!" Said the boy. "I think I just might do that."
And so they found a new land together and lived there, the girl happy to have avoided marrying her brother, never knowing that her husband was also the son of her mother and father, the son that might have been born at the exact same moment as she.
